From December 26 to December 28, under the guidance of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Chongqing Municipal Culture and Tourism Development Committee, co-organized by the Sichuan Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center (Museum), Chongqing Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, Sichuan Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association, and Chongqing Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association, and co-organized by the Meishan Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, the "Intangible Cultural Heritage to Promote the Construction of the Bashu Cultural and Tourism Corridor" - the 2024 Sichuan-Chongqing Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Alliance series of activities was held in Meishan City, Sichuan Province.

Li Lin, director of the Sichuan Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center (Museum), pointed out that the Sichuan-Chongqing Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Alliance should thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions and instructions on the protection of intangible cultural heritage, earnestly shoulder the new cultural mission of the new era, and focus on the national strategy of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle. At the meeting, He Yimin, director of the Urban Research Institute of Sichuan University and professor of Sichuan University, gave a lecture on "New Paths and Characteristics of the Protection, Inheritance and Development of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the New Era - Taking Chengdu's Intangible Cultural Heritage "Double Creation" and the Construction of a World Cultural City as an Example", and Yu Qiang, vice president of the Chongqing Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association and professor of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, gave an expert lecture on "Re-creation of Traditional Handicrafts".
